My First Explosion Card..!!

This is a concept that I have been longing to make from a very long time.. And finally was able to make it..

This I made for one of my school friend's fiancee... Was soo happy to see the outcome.. This is one of my favorite color combinations..

She did love it a lot.. :) :) Let me know your thoughts on this too :)

This is the outside view of the explosion card.. Looks like a gift box !!

A closer look at the lid of the box.. Have embellished them with handmade roses, blossoms and lovely hearts.. :) :) 

This is how the explosion box opens up.. The box now opens flat and you can write your personalized message all over the four flaps.. The center can be used to stick on any goody :) :)

Box Card - for the love of crafting challenge

This is my first challenge card... Thanks to Dr. Sonia, for teaching me how to enter into blog challenges..

I have longed to participate in blog challenges.. And was getting soo confused on how to make a start to it.. And felt that this theme was just perfect to take off..

I was soo thrilled when I saw this challenge in the blog, for the love of crafting,

ANYTHING GOES... :) :)

So I made this box card.. I have made two variations in it.. One as a card can be used for wishing best wishes on a house warming occasion... And the second one.. wishing for a happy birthday.. :) :) 

(This is going to be a picture heavy post.. )

I just loved this box card.. For this card.. I made some quilled roses.. to embellish.. 

This is how it opens up.. 

This is a side view of the card.. You can see the box shape perfectly in this angle.. 

And also.. embellished with a paper house inside.. 

And ya.. these are some tags that you can keep into this box card with your wishes written on them... 

Now for the second card.. For this one.. I made some lillum flowers to match the blue theme..
